5 Days of Work From Home Style

5 easy work from home style

Raise your hand if you are still working from home full time?  I am and I’m not sure when I will return to the office.  I’ve fully embraced my new work environment along with my new wardrobe.  I do miss my work clothes, but I’m learning to love a more casual style everyday. My jeans are a true staple now and I’m living in this pair of Good American Good Legs right now.  Now that it’s Spring I’m moving out my sweaters and into tops, and puff sleeve tops are a clear favorite for me!

In addition to getting fully dressed, I’ve also upped my accessory game.  Everyday earrings (you can read my full post here) give me life each day!  Once I put them on my entire mood changes, it’s great to feel and look put together.  My other favorite new accessory is this quilted purse.  You can read my full review about it here.

Getting dressed everyday in casual clothes has been a good change of pace.  However, I found out that I can get tired of casual clothes the same way I get sick of work clothes.  Every once in a while I stand in the closet and say those 5 famous words, “I have nothing to wear.” It’s not that I have nothing to wear, I have nothing to wear that I’m excited about.  I know you know the feeling and have been in my shoes.

So I’m here to help you out!  I’m sharing 5 days of work from home style with you.  I’ve done this post a few times in the past featuring office appropriate styles and you can find my favorite one here.   Take a peak into what I wear during the week when working from home.

5 Days of Work From Home Style

Monday

Stripped Puff Sleeve Top + Jeans + Booties

The best trend I’m loving right now is the puff sleeve.  However not all puff sleeves are created equal.  Some are too puffy, some aren’t puffy enough, but this one has just the right amount of puff.  While you can wear this top casually with jeans you can also pair it with a pencil skirt to wear in the office.  The material isn’t a straight cotton, which makes its look dressier.

Tuesday

Slouchy Turtleneck + Jeans + Leopard Flats

Another trend sweeping the internet is the free people slouchy mock neck dupe.  I’m not a huge fan of dupes, but in this case the dupe is better than the original and it’s a fraction of the price.  With the temperatures being unpredictable right now, I grab for this sweater when the spring temps are cold.  And this sweater is only $35 and comes in a ton of colors!  The khaki color is my favorite, it looks super luxe.

Wednesday

Leopard Top + Jeans + Booties

what to wear working from home

Leopard is my favorite neutral.  Yes an animal print is a neutral.  It’s been around forever, it goes with everything and is here to stay.  This top is something I would wear in the office with a cropped ankle pant.  At home I wear it with jeans and pair it with my favorite quilted bag when I go out.

Thursday

Sweater Blazer + Button Down + Jeans + Booties

Wear Anywhere Outfit

This is my wear anywhere outfit and it’s perfect for WFH.  You can read all about each piece in detail in my full post here.

Friday

Red Puff Sleeve Top + Jeans + Leopard Flats

work from home outfit ideas

Maybe this post should have been puff sleeves tops I love right now.  This top is so cute and the red color is perfect for a video call.  It’s ¾ length sleeves, which makes it a great spring top.  I love that I can wear this out to dinner too.  On Friday’s we typically eat out, so I can go from desk (aka kitchen counter) to dinner very quickly!

P.S. If you want more spring outfit ideas check out how I styled this blazer four ways here.
