Let’s talk about purses today because I found the ultimate inexpensive purse for spring for you all!  A few years ago I bought a true investment bag.  I spent a ton of money on it and used it everyday for years.  And then COVID hit and I’ve used my designer bag 3 times in the past year.  Things changed pretty quickly and made me reevaluate my investment pieces.

While I know I will use my investment bag again (hopefully soon) I’ve been reassessing my needs to get another investment bag.  For years I’ve been eyeing a designer quilted purse such as a Chanel Classic Handbag or YSL Shoulder Bag.  However I cannot justify the cost of one of those bags for my current lifestyle.  Yes, I know it is a classic piece that will be around forever and yes, I know I can slowly save up for it.  However right now in my life I just can’t justify it.  One day I may be able to justify it, but that day is not today.

Instead, I stumbled across this perfectly priced, perfectly crafted quilted bag from Target for only $30!  And well, that price is much more manageable for me even if I use it once.  I’m a huge cost per wear person.  If an item is $10 and I never wear it then I’ve wasted $10.  If an item is $50 and I’ve worn it ten times, it’s $5 per wear and that is pretty good.  So every item in my closet is evaluated on a cost-per-wear basis and if the price is under $10 a wear I consider it a very good investment.  I technically need to use this bag 3 times for it to be considered a very good investment.  I know I can do that!
