Surprise…I’m coming to you with a fun hopping post this week! I was so excited about a few recent summer accessories purchases that I had to share them with you. I really don’t talk much about accessories here on the blog. It’s no surprise that I love classic pieces to create my signature style, like this Monica Vinader bracelet. However, not every accessory needs to be pricey or timeless. Having trendy moderately priced summer accessories to mix in will round out your collection.
My summer philosophy is less is more. That means keeping things simple, classic and under $25! Every season brings in trendy items that only last for that season and then live in the trend graveyard. I don’t like spending a ton of money on these summer accessories as I know I won’t use them once the trend is over. Spending less on those trends is how I add them to my everyday look.
But remember, you do get what you pay for. So cheap usually equals low quality, but if you do this for quick trends it’s ok. Just keep in mind that a $10 pair of earrings may break after three wears. Statement earrings are a trend that is still going strong. Think fringe, tassels and bold colors to adorn your ears all summer long.
