Let’s face it, I haven’t added a heel to my shoe collection in over a year. As re-entry into the real world is becoming a reality I’m starting to evaluate my shoes and update my collection. I’m doing a shoe edit on my work and weekend shoes to check for worn out pairs, out-of-style pairs, and evaluate my general inventory. My shoe selection has three criteria; in-style, functional, and comfort. And I came across a new (to me) brand last year, INEZ that offers everything that meets my criteria.
INEZ Shoes
Inez was created by Hannah Spinelli who has designed footwear for over 15 years at some of America’s top fashion houses. She brings a modern design element to traditional Spanish shoemaking. Along with her partner they design and create all the shoes in Spain.
From my personal experience, I love and stand behind European shoes. The craftsmanship is superior and INEZ shoes are no exception to this rule. They are able to marry style and comfort perfectly. They exceed all standards when it comes to comfort, style, and service.
Comfort
INEZ shoes are designed with comfort technology that regulates pressure as you walk. Their proprietary plush insoles feature luxe suede lining and layers of the latest foam technology. With every step the embedded heel cushion absorbs impact while the arch support stabilizes your foot. That’s a really fancy way of saying you can walk all day in these shoes and your feet will be happy.
I’m going to need all the help I can get as I haven’t slipped a heel on my feet since March 2020. I’m out of practice and need to go for hours in my shoes and heels. INEZ shoes have an insole that offers stability, endurance and range of motion, which is exactly what I need this year.
Style
INEZ offers on-trend shoes for every season. Their current offerings include sandals, pumps, boots and mules. I have the ISA in chalk and they are gorgeous! Not only is the color perfect for summer and early fall, but the wedge heel is perfect for re-entry. My feet haven’t seen a heel in over a year so I need to retrain my feet.
The heel is just under 3 inches and offers the height I want. The shoe also offers a plush arch support to allow me to stand and walk for longer than most shoes. I’ll be wearing these all summer with fun dresses and will continue to wear them when I am back in the office. I do suggest sizing up in this style though, they run snug. I am normally an 8 regular and I went with the 8.5 roomy option and they fit great!
I’m so happy to find a new shoe brand that I love. As re-entry starts to become a reality I’ll be stocking my closet with INEZ shoes!
