It’s been a while since I’ve done an Everlane round up. And timing is perfect as they have re-released some of my all time favorite summer essentials that I’ve been wearing for years. And coming later in June they are releasing my most worn dress of 2020, the smocked dress. You can see it here. Everlane Luxe Cotton Tie Front Dress
The dress is is 100% smooth cotton, which means its super luxe and looks shiny rather than dull. It’s soft to the touch and washes like a dream. It comes out of the machine without a wrinkle. The sizing is generous on this dress. I sized down to a small, but could have easily worn an extra small. The tie front waist is the best feature of this dress. You can make it as tight or as loose as you want. I prefer a super tight waist as it offers proportions on your silhouette and defines your waist. And to be honest, large loose clothes make you appear larger than you are.
A few other attributes on this dress that I absolutely love are the loose and longer sleeves, the slide slit and the midi length. You can pair it with sneakers or sandals and add necklaces to dress it up. And the best part of this dress is the price, it’s only $78. That is a total deal!
Everlane Summer Essentials
Everlane has so many other great options for summer staples and they are all under $100! In general I don’t like spending a lot on summer clothes. Mainly because they consist of half the material of other clothes and also because summer is such a short period in Chicago.
This year Everlane has brought back some classic styles and added in a few new items to the mix. Here are my must have Everlane summer essentials. And yes, I own all the items and have had them for a couple years now!
