Swimsuit Coverups From Summersalt

summersalt coverups

Spring break is upon us and I’m partnering with Summersalt to bring you the best coverup options for the beach and pool.  I was introduced to Summersalt last year and instantly feel in love.  Their swimwear is 100% worth the hype!  I currently own three swimsuits (Ruffle Backflip Swimsuit, Marina Swimsuit, Sidestroke Swimsuit) and will never wear anything else.  You can read my full review of my Summersalt suits in this post here.  In this post though I am sharing a full review and styling options for swimsuit coverups from Summersalt.

While I’m personally not going to spring break, its never to early to plan for summer break!  I’m beyond excited for my beach and pool days this summer now that I have several coverup options.  Now I need to start working on my sunless tan.

Summersalt Swimsuit Coverups

Palazzo Pants With Ties

These palazzo pants are so much more than a coverup, they can be your outfit!  I love the lightweight, silky material they are made of.  They pair perfectly with any of the Summersalt swimsuits to create a put cohesive look.

I’ve paired my leopard palazzo pants with the solid black ruffle backflip suit to balance out the pattern.  And I’ve paired my solid black palazzo pants with the marina leopard print suit.  Both looks are giving mob wife vibes and I’m loving it!

In terms of sizing I went with a large which is my true size.  I also suggest using the size charts on the website.  They are accurate and that is how I got a perfect fit on my swimsuits and pants.

Effortless Shirtdress

I’ll be honest out of the box this wasn’t my favorite option, but once I styled it up it is my favorite option. The shirtdress looks chic and effortless.  It’s the perfect length that isn’t to short or to long.  Its’ flowy, breathable and crisp.  I’m wearing the cult classic sidestroke suit with it and feel confident.  You can easily wear this at the beach, pool and everywhere in between for a casual summer day.

In terms of sizing I went with a large because that’s what the size chart suggested.  I always measure off my largest body part, which is my hips.  The size large fits nicely and offers the casual effortless look I was going for.

Smocked Maxi Dress

This is technically listed as a coverup on the Summersalt website; however I’m wearing this as a dress!  I actually picked up a patterned style of this dress last year and wore it to death.  The black smocked dress is made of silky material, that is more suitable for a coverup.  However you really can’t tell and it’s just to cute to not wear around town.  Let this piece pull double duty as a coverup and normal dress this spring and summer.

Ruched Swim Skirt

This is my go to for pool days.  The swim skirt is easy to wear and chase kids around with.  It’s made out of swim suit material so you can wear it in the water too.  It comes in seven color options.  I went with a large, which is what I measured with.  While it’s slightly large around the waist, it fits my hips nicely.  I did try on the medium and it was too tight.  So stick with the website size chart and you will get a perfect fit.

Beach to Brunch Wrap Skirt

As the name suggests you can wear this skirt to the beach and then to brunch.  I like the skirt, however I feel like you can only pair it with a black swimsuit.  So in that regard it can be limiting in your wardrobe.  It’s still a great option for a classic black and white look.  And if you need it to pull double duty on your trip pair it with a black tank for an evening out.  I am wearing a size large, which is what the measurements on the website suggested and it’s a perfect fit.
