Summer Statement Earrings

Summer is unofficially here.  I live for these months and now that I have small kids, they are the absolute best.  I’m a pretty buttoned up person, but in the summer I left loose a bit.  How do I do it?.  I wear statement earrings.  It’s small and for some it might not be a big deal, but for me, it’s HUGE!  

I typically stick to my fine jewelry collection I’ve built over the years.  These pieces are a little more pricey, tame and timeless.  I’ve been wearing them for years and love them.  In the summer though I get a little wild and wear bigger statement earrings.  Mainly on the weekends, but sometimes during the work week.  I know I’m crazy!  

I typically don’t spend a ton of money on statement earrings.  They are more of an add on to my accessories and something I might not wear as frequently.  With that being said I did invest in a pair of Kendra Scott statement earrings (I paid $85!)  two summers ago and they are one of my favorite pairs.  I’ve also paid $20 for a pair that are still going strong and one of my favorites too.  So perhaps price doesn’t matter, but I like to stay on the cheaper side for summer statement earrings.
