It’s officially dress season in Chicago.  While we experienced winter and summer within a week of each other here the temps are back to 60s and 70s.  And I’m ready to bust out the spring dresses!  I’m beyond excited because my feet can see daylight again and my pants don’t really fit right now.  After having a baby this time around I am having a very hard time getting back into jeans.  Yes, I have sized up, but they are very uncomfortable.  

So instead of being uncomfortable 24/7 I’ve decided to just refocus my efforts into spring dresses.  There is more room in a dress and I don’t have to worry about cutting off my circulation from buttoning jeans, IYKYK.  Spring dresses are the interlude to summer dresses, which I’m equally excited about.  This spring I’m focused on a few specific dresses that fit my lifestyle right now.   Keep scrolling to see my top picks for spring dresses.

Spring Dress #2

This dress is the bees knees and literally has bees on it!  The waist is adjustable too, with small drawstrings on each size.  Sizing is generous on this, however I went with my normal size medium.  I’ve rounded out the look with these $35 heels.

Spring Dress #3

You can’t go wrong with a little chambray dress.  Sizing is tight in the chest on this dress, I would actually size up.  I got it in an 8 and could use a 10 for sure.  And my cowboy boots are very old…did I pay too much for them?  Yes.  Do I wear them at all? No.  Do I love them?  YES!  However this pair is much more reasonably priced.

Spring Dress #4

This is an end of spring, early summer dress.  The ruffle sleeve is what sold this dress for me., however the price is right coming in under $100!  You can find the dress here and the sandals here.
