We can officially say goodbye to pants and hello to dresses! I’m a dress gal, but I’ve shied away from them in the winter so I’m dying to get back into them. And there is no better way to welcome April than floral dresses! You literally cannot go wrong with a floral dress!
Floral dresses are the right pattern to wear as we welcome in those fresh flowers and warmer temps. While you can wear the heck out of floral in the spring you can easily take it into summer too. Meaning from now until September you can wear floral dresses!
Most floral dresses are just starting to hit the stores so now is the perfect time to be on the hunt. I’m actually going to be wearing this floral dress for Easter. Good news, it’s only $32 and is available on Amazon Prime. So you still have time to get it for Easter too! Sizing is a little weird (as all Amazon sizing is) I’m wearing a large and it fits great. However the dress only comes in medium, large and extra large. I would adjust and size down from your typical size. I’m a 8/10 which is normally a medium and the large fits great. It’s a generous fit, with a tiered skirt, long sleeve and cut ruffle details on the neck and wrists.
Styling this dress is a breeze because anything goes with it. When it comes to shoes here are some options:
- Booties for colder spring days
- White sneakers for running around town
- Brown sandals for summer days
- Nude braided heels for nights out
And keep the accessories simple as the pattern is loud. I’d pair it with my favorite belt bag, sunglasses and everyday jewelry (you can see my whole collection here).
