Coat season is here! It’s right up there as a favorite time for me (sweater weather is pretty high too) because a girl can never have too many coats, right?!? I always try to pair down my coats, but end up accumulating so many. They are usually green, I’m not sure why, but my latest one is the richest brown color ever, its’ the Dream Coat.

Right now in Chicago we are having the most beautiful weather. In fact, when we did the shoot for these photos you actually didn’t even need a coat on, I was so overdressed 🙂 But no-jacket weather in November is a very rare thing in the Midwest. What isn’t rare is going from no-coat weather to 30 degrees and everything in between in a single day. Having the perfect weight coat is key to living in the Midwest.

I am so glad to have found the Dream Coat, because it truly is a dream to wear. It’s the perfect weight for a crisp fall day and a warmer winter day. You can easily wear this coat when it’s in the 60’s (if you require a coat) to when it dips to the low 40’s.

The material is so luxe and rich looking. It is soft to the touch and the deep brown color makes it look super expensive, even though it’s reasonably priced. Finding items that look like a million bucks, but cost way less are super finds. In fact, I would call this coat a key piece for your wardrobe. One that you will have for a very long time.

In addition, you can wear this coat dressed up or dressed down. It’s a showstopper when paired with all black. Mixing black and brown is an easy way to elevate any outfit. And if you want to wear your leggings with this coat you will look equally chic!
