What is the one thing that just about every women uses? Any guesses? It’s a razor and if you are like me you’ve been using it before you were a teenager. If you added up all the time spent each year shaving it would come to about 30 hours total. If you are doing something for that long don’t you want to love it? I know I do, which is why I’m beyond glad I found the Billie Razor and so sad it took me so long to find it. Keep reading for the full Billie Razor Review.
I remember the day my mom taught me how to shave. It was the most exciting day of my life and saddest. Exciting because I was finally shaving my legs. Shaving your legs as a little girl is a rite of passage, a true sign of growing up into a young lady. It’s beyond exciting. On the other hand it’s a very sad day because everyday after that you have to shave your legs. It’s the one “self-care” task that I dislike.
I’ll be honest, I’m Italian and my leg hair is dark, thick, and grows fast. So I have to shave every day, even in the winter as I wear dresses pretty much every day to work. I need something that I could easily get replacement razors for and had been seeing a ton of ads for the Billie Razor. Being the true skeptic that I am I thought a $9 razor wasn’t going to work. What Is Billie Razor
Billie Razor is the future of razors! They took the simplest everyday essential for women and made it accessible, reasonably priced and good for the world. The brand originally started with a razor and has since branched out into other self-care items like makeup wipes, dry shampoo and body wash just to name a few.
They made the price right. You can get a starter kit, which includes a razor, two blades and a magnetic holder for $9 flat (shipping is free!). Women’s razors are notoriously overpriced due to the Pink Tax. The Pink Tax is known for gender discrimination on “pink” products, AKA women’s products. They removed the tax and made the razors reasonably priced. And in the spirit of giving back they took it one step further.
Billie gives back 1% of all revenue to causes around the world. Currently they are donating to local food banks across America to help serve the needs of people affected by the Coronavirus outbreak. What an amazing company!

How Does The Billie Razor Subscription Work
When you purchase your Billie Razor starter kit (which only costs $9) you opt into their subscription program. You select your color, I picked blush and then you let them know how often you shave. Based upon this they will suggest how often you should get replacement cartridges. While I shave daily I did select to get replacement razors every two months vs. every month. This frequency works great for me.
It’s as simple as that. Once you are signed up you can go back into your account and delay a shipment if needed. Before you check out I would suggest picking up the travel case. You will use this and it keeps your razor dry and protected. If you travel a lot I would actually suggest picking up two starter kits and keeping one as a travel razor.
