I can feel confident and stylish while looking age appropriate and modestly covered. Gone are the days of super short shorts and reveling tops. If I’m being honest those were never the days for me, but now I have a brand that matches my ascetic.

The summer collect is my first full experience with J.Jill and did it not disappoint. I was able to find a good mix of elevated basics, put together weekend looks and polished office outfits. Here are some of my favorite pieces from this collection.

I have it in a medium and probably could have taken it in a small in this blazer.

The Linen A-Line Dress is flowy and feminine, with just enough structure to keep it from feeling too casual. It’s ideal for hot summer days but can be dressed up with accessories or a blazer for more polish. I took this in a medium and glad I did. While it initially felt big, I know it fit my hips nicely and was a great length for me. The small would have been to short.
Linen Pull-On Shorts
These shorts are a summer essential—cool, breezy, and completely fuss-free. The elastic waistband and A-line silhouette offer comfort without sacrificing style, making them perfect for everyday wear. These run slightly big. If you are in between sizes I would size down. I took a medium and they fit my hips great and are slightly large in the waistband. When styled with a belt they are perfect though!
Perfect Reversible Tank
This tank lives up to its name. One side features a scoop neck, while the other has a V-neck—offering two looks in one. It’s soft, flattering, and layers effortlessly. This tank is life changing and pulls double duty in my closet. I’m in a medium and its a perfect fit.
Fit and Sizing You Can Count On
J.Jill’s inclusive sizing makes shopping simple, offering misses, petite, tall, and plus options. Sizing is for a mature woman and its generous. A medium is a true (to slightly bigger) medium. In general all items run true to size. I would use the size guide on their website, I found it to be very accurate. I always go off my biggest measurement, which is my hips.
