Herbed Butter

Prep Time 1 hour 10 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick salted butter
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives
  • 3/4 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. soften the butter on the counter for at least one hour
  2. chop the parsley and chives
  3. combine all ingredients in a bowl, using a fork fold everything into the butter
  4. mix well until the lemon juice is absorbed into the butter
  5. form the mixture into a log
  6. place in refrigerator to solidify for at least one hour prior to serving
